Question of the Week


Wow!!  You are out of school for an entire week.  What are somethings that you are planning to do during the Thanksgiving break?  What are some things that you are thankful for?

Write about your goals, hopes, and dreams for the new year!!

I hope everyone enjoyed our trip to Montgomery.  List something you learned from each of the places we visited:  Alabama Archives and History, the Capitol, and the Montgomery Zoo.

If you were a teacher, what is one book that you would tell your whole class to read?  Why do you think this would be an important  book for students to read and then discuss as a class?  (Kid Chat, Too, Bret Nicholaus and Paul Lowrie)

Welcome to fourth grade.  As a new fourth grader, I’m sure that you have an idea of what you would like to accomplish or learn this year.  Just as we would do when completing a KWL chart, I want you to think about what you already KNOW, and what you WANT to know.  Post a comment to answer the WANT part of your imaginary chart.  Hopefully we can spend the year completing the LEARN part of the chart to match your expectations.

After you have watched the Martin Luther King, Jr. video in class, think about his life and words. What can you do as a fourth grader to make the world a better place?
